The medium green leaves are tender and have good flavor. The plant is tolerant of heat and may bolt in spring and cold weather. Cool season annual Maturity: Approx. 35-45 days Planting season: Late spring or late summer/early fall For southern states, it may survive mild winter enduring light frosts. This heirloom leafy veggie is great for baby green salad, stir fry (with a touch of shredded ginger), soup, hot pot, or sukiyaki.
