Need more seeds? 1/2-OZ packet has about 80 seeds; 2-OZ packet has about 320 seeds. Corn is wind-pollinated, so plant in short blocks (i.e. rectangular matrix) rather than long rows so that ears fill out with kernels. Rows should be spaced 18-24″ apart; sow seeds 6″ apart. Cover seeds with 1″ fine soil. Typical germination rate 5-10 days when soil temperature is 60F+. Do not plant too early, perhaps wait couple weeks after the last frost.
